Nuove modalità di voto elettronico per la SIF

Finalmente la SIF passa a nuove modalità elettroniche di voto, sul modello di molte altre società scientifiche.

Il nuovo Regolamento Elettorale è stato elaborato dal Consiglio di Presidenza della SIF con l'idea di modernizzare dal punto di vista tecnico le procedure di voto, nel totale rispetto del Regolamento Elettorale preesistente – stabilito nel 1990 durante il 76° Congresso Nazionale della SIF a Trento – e con l'idea di consentire al massimo numero di Soci della SIF di esprimere il proprio voto. A tale scopo, in particolare, il nuovo Regolamento rimuove alcuni vincoli temporali circa il rinnovo della quota associativa ai fini dell'acquisizione del diritto di voto per l'elettorato attivo, come illustrato nella figura che compare in questo articolo.

La nuova versione del Regolamento Elettorale è stata sottoposta all'approvazione dell'Assemblea dei Soci durante il 101° Congresso Nazionale di Roma martedì 22 settembre 2015. Era stata precedentemente inserita nell'Area Soci del sito web della Società per consentirne l'esame preliminare da parte dei Soci, sollecitandone eventuali commenti e suggerimenti.

Approvata all'unanimità dall'Assemblea, il nuovo Regolamento Elettorale entra dunque in vigore. E così voteremo nel 2016.

New electronic voting procedures for the SIF

At last the SIF switches to new electronic voting procedures, following the example of many other learned societies.

The new Electoral Regulations were conceived by the SIF Council with the aim to update the voting system from a technical point of view, in full compliance with the previously existing Electoral Regulations – established in 1990 during the 76th National Congress of the SIF in Trento – and with the aim to allow the highest possible number of SIF Members to vote. For this purpose, in particular, the new Regulations remove some time constraints on the renewal of the membership fee in order to enable the Members' right to vote, as shown in the figure appearing in this article.

The new version of the Electoral Regulations was subject to the approval of the SIF Members at the 101st National Congress of Rome on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. It had previously been inserted in the Members Area of the Society's website for a preliminary review, soliciting comments and suggestions.

Adopted unanimously by the Assembly, the new Electoral Regulations will therefore enter into force. And this is how we are going to vote in 2016.
