Se non lo avete ancora fatto, questo è un invito ad associarvi o a rinnovare la vostra associazione alla SIF!

La forza e l'impatto di una Società come la SIF dipendono dal numero e dalla vivacità dei suoi Soci. Per questo siete invitati ad aderire o a rinnovare l'adesione alla Società Italiana di Fisica. Per diventare Soci effettivi (ossia 'in regola') non è richiesto alcun pagamento retroattivo ma solo quello per l'anno in corso. Versando la quota sociale annuale potrete:

• usufruire di agevolazioni per l'acquisto delle pubblicazioni SIF e per la partecipazione alle attività della Società come l'International School of Physics "Enrico Fermi", la Joint EPS-SIF International School on Energy e il Congresso Nazionale;
• ricevere la copia cartacea, consultare i contenuti online e scaricare gratuitamente la APP de Il Nuovo Saggiatore;
• consultare gratuitamente l'Archivio Storico della SIF dove sono a disposizione tutte le sezioni de Il Nuovo Cimento 1855-1996, le Lettere al Nuovo Cimento 1969-1986, La Rivista del Nuovo Cimento 1969-1999 e i Rendiconti della Scuola Internazionale di Fisica "E. Fermi" a partire dall'anno 1995;
• accedere gratuitamente a Physics World previa autenticazione con apposite credenziali che saranno fornite attraverso l'Area Soci del sito Web della SIF;
• concorrere ai premi SIF.

Le attività della SIF si inquadrano anche in un contesto internazionale allargato grazie alla Società Europea di Fisica (EPS), di cui la SIF fa parte insieme ad altre 41 Società scientifiche europee. Pertanto, associatevi o rinnovate la vostra associazione anche all'EPS.

If you have not done it yet, this is an invitation to join the SIF or renew your SIF membership!

The strength and the impact of a Society like the SIF depend on the number and the dynamism of its Members. For this you are invited to join or renew your membership of the Italian Physical Society. To recover the status of Member (i.e. 'regular' Member), no retroactive payments are required, but only that for the current year. By paying the annual membership fee, you can:

• have reductions for the purchase of SIF publications and the participation in the Society's activities such as the International School of Physics "Enrico Fermi", the Joint EPS-SIF International School on Energy and the National Congress;
• receive the printed copy, consult the online content and freely download the APP of Il Nuovo Saggiatore;
• consult the SIF Historical Archives, where all sections of Il Nuovo Cimento 1855-1996, Lettere al Nuovo Cimento 1969-1986, La Rivista del Nuovo Cimento 1969-1999 and the Proceedings of the International School of Physics "E. Fermi" from the year 1995 are available.
• have free digital access to Physics World by authenticating with the credentials available in the Members Area of SIF Website;
• apply to the SIF prize competitions.

The activities of the SIF are framed in an enlarged international context thanks to the European Physical Society (EPS), of which the SIF is part together with 41 other European learned Societies. Therefore, please join the EPS or renew your EPS membership as well.
