The International Workshop on Multi facets of Eos and Clustering, IWM-EC 2018, organized by Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia, Università di Catania, INFN, Sezione di Catania and Laboratori Nazionali del Sud, has been held in Catania from 22nd to 25th May 2018. The workshop, supported by the CHIMERA and INDRA Collaborations, was at the third edition and has been attended by about 80 researchers coming from Italy and many different countries.

During the four days, open questions in the domain of nuclear dynamics and structure with stable and radioactive beams have been addressed, with dedicated sessions to outline recent progress on both experimental and theoretical aspects on various topics as correlations and clustering phenomena, isospin effects in nuclear reactions, nuclear matter Equation of State, fission and new experimental tools and detection techniques. Particular attention has been devoted to the connection of the Equation of State with nuclear structure, nuclear dynamics and physics of compact objects as neutron stars.

The contributions have been presented in form of invited talks, providing an overview of the discussed topics, and oral presentations and posters, selected by the scientific committee. In a special session, the posters have also been associated to a short oral presentation. Three Best Poster Prizes, sponsored by the Italian Physical Society (SIF) ,have been awarded at the end of the workshop, according to the decision of a International Committee; the winners researchers were José Francisco Favela Pérez (Mexico), Nunzia Simona Martorana (Italy) and Fatimeh Torabi (Iran).

The IWM-EC 2018 proceedings will be published by the Italian Physical Society in Il Nuovo Cimento. This edition will be also available in electronic version in open access.
