Renato Angelo Ricci, who is still an active member of the ALICE Collaboration at the age of almost 91, is a brilliant physicist and he is the most senior affiliate of the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) and of the Italian Physical Society (SIF). In this interview, Angela Greco retraced with him the various phases of his excellent career.
